BUSINESS TO BUSINESS INTERNET WEB MARKETING TOOLS

Working with the client's marketing team, Majec Systems analyzed the communication challenges inherent in managing and supporting a world-wide enterprise. After establishing the requirements Majec created a suite of web tools to assist the client team in handling the sales and development staff distributed across the globe. The tools used database supported web pages, RSS feeds and corporate blogging sites to express and expand the corporate brand and messaging.

PUBLIC SECTOR ASSOCIATIONS AND MEMBERSHIP GROUPS

Majec Systems provides application and database development for one of the country’s largest membership groups. The group has over 7000 members and annually plans and presents conferences for its membership. We created conference registration software and post conference, user experience surveys. We also created a Wiki implementation for the members and multiple unit specific blogs using the membership database as the authentication scheme for access to the unit specific blog instances.

EDUCATIONAL SOFTWARE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

A Fortune 500 publishing company sought to package various online and multimedia educational software programs together into a single management system. To overcome the technical challenge of uniting so many different media in one user interface, we built a custom delivery system in Visual C++ using Microsoft MFC. The project required the use of ODBC connectivity and called for implementing client-designed GUIs.

JAVA SMARTCARD

A multinational SmartCard developer contracted with Majec Systems to create a fully-functioning web-based demo of the client's Java SmartCard capabilities. The web-based demo illustrated the multi-applet capabilities of the SmartCard and was written using Java as well as DES external authentication and RSA encryption techniques.

Specifically, the web demo illustrated a wallet applet that could be incremented from a source such as a savings account online. We also implemented a marketplace where the card holder could purchase items online using the card with the purchase price being deducted from the balance stored on the card.

FINANCIAL TOOL

A leading credit and financial data company turned to Majec Systems to create an online application that would deliver an extensive series of data-rich reports covering financial information. The application was written utilizing Microsoft's SQL Server database, extensive ODBC, DAO routines, and delivered using ASP technology. Tight integration with NT 4.0 security and SSL were among the application's features.
